As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to our production facilities on the setup, mold, and tooling installation of blow molding machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to production facilities on the setup, mold, and tooling installation of blow molding machines.
  • Make recommendations on tooling size, design, and shape to optimize production efficiency.
  • Support production facilities with cycle time improvements and implement preventative maintenance planning procedures.
  • Work closely with the design team on concept design and improvements, providing professional process engineering knowledge on designing efficiently moldable products.
  • Set up blow molding machines, including tooling, molds, blow pins, materials, and downstream equipment.
  • Repair and replace pneumatic and hydraulic components as needed.

Requirements:

  • Technical, AAS, or BS degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SIPA SX1 & SX2 2-stage machines, producing 5-gallon, PET water bottles.
  • 2-stage (Sipa, Sidel, FlexBlow, Krones) experience is required.
  • Understanding of processes with PET and anti-stat/slip agent additives is a plus.
