About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineering Manager to join our team at Raytheon. As a Process Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of process engineers in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for focal plane arrays and semiconductor products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of process engineers in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for focal plane arrays and semiconductor products.
  • Ensure the effective execution of processes and projects, with a focus on safety, capacity, yield, cycle time, and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement process improvement activities, including compliance to internal and customer policies regarding safety, change control, training, contamination control, and quality assurance.
  • Lead the use of Statistical Process Control and Process Capability Analysis to drive the organization to predictable yields.
  • Define requirements for acquisition and qualification of new capital equipment.
  • Champion PFMEA and RCCA activities to proactively prevent process excursions.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and a minimum of 8 years' experience as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer in an Optics, Electro-Optics and/or Microelectronics environment.
  • Experience leading and managing the executing of processes and projects.
  • The Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government issued clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with infrared detector technology and materials.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience leading teams to achieve results in a technical discipline.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom work environments and principles.
  • Ability to solve technical problems while maintaining accountability to delivered product.
