Job Description

Coffee Regional Medical C is seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech I to join our team. As a Patient Care Tech I, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed personnel, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients, as well as brushing teeth and combing hair.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as toileting, transferring, and ambulating.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, behavior, and physical condition, and report any concerns to the facility staff.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including stocking and keeping storerooms tidy and cleaning patient rooms.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • PCT I certification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.
  • Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients, as well as use good body mechanics.
