About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. This is a part-time position with a variable schedule, requiring 28 hours of work per week.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services to adult and child members. They will collaborate with treating physicians, psychiatric professionals, and allied health teams to develop and direct individualized treatment programs.

  • Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate clinical treatment programs for members with acute or chronic mental illness.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Instruct and counsel patients regarding therapeutic regimens and adherence to prescribed medication.
  • Administer specialized therapeutic procedures as needed.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or a related field from an accredited university. A valid California license is required, such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions are preferred. A demonstrated commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a multidisciplinary clinic is also desired.
