Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously observe all areas of the property to identify potential security and safety concerns, promptly reporting them to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Conduct thorough observations and investigations within the Surveillance Department during assigned shifts.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Gaming Commission regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the property.
  • Safeguard casino assets and uphold gaming integrity through diligent monitoring of activities, particularly on the gaming floor.
  • Assist in directing Surveillance Reports to the relevant individuals as per management directives, ensuring confidentiality is upheld.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Deliver world-class service levels within the Surveillance Department.
  • Prepare daily activity reports and necessary documentation for management review.
  • Coordinate with Surveillance Management on matters requiring further investigation or attention.
  • Document and report any unusual or suspicious activities observed on the property.
  • Regularly inspect premises to identify safety or security hazards, reporting findings to management for appropriate action.
  • Accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Conduct evaluations and audits of player ratings.
  • Identify and document opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Monitor and analyze daily gaming activities.
  • Possess experience with operational case studies.
  • Understand house advantage in relation to player reinvestment.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting documents such as policy manuals and maintenance instructions.
  • Skilled in analyzing gaming statistics and thoroughly investigating discrepancies.
  • Capable of writing effective reports.
  • Adept at reviewing surveillance footage to extract conclusive evidence.
  • Responsive to inquiries from team members and guests.
  • Effective communicator in various group settings.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic and data interpretation.
  • Ability to apply logical reasoning to diverse situations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Experienced in monitoring table games such as Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat.
  • Capable of conducting thorough player evaluations.
  • Familiarity with Slot Advantage Play.
  • Experience with BJ Survey and eConnect systems.
  • Team-oriented with strong decision-making skills.
  • Able to conduct extensive gaming investigations.
  • Skilled in detecting cheating activities and schemes.
Education:

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred. Completion of Table Games Dealing School is also desirable.
