Job Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Alternate Solutions Health Network LLC. As an OTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role:
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, as ordered by the attending physician.
  • Assess patient conditions and notify the Occupational Therapist of any changes.
  • Develop and implement plans of care to improve patient functional status.
  • Counsel patients and their families on disease management and proper use of equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan of Care: Develop and implement plans of care to improve patient functional status.
  • Minimize Patient Risk: Assess patient conditions and notify the Occupational Therapist of any changes.
  • Family Educator/Advocate: Counsel patients and their families on disease management and proper use of equipment.
  • Policies: Complete all clinical documentation following agency protocol and Medicare/Federal guidelines.
  • Rules and Regulations: Understand and follow agency policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) with current license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a OTA in an acute care setting. Home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
  • Capable of all physical demands.
