Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients with cardiopulmonary abnormalities at Montefiore Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and monitor diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, including HFNC, NIPPV, and invasive mechanical ventilation.
  • Initiate, monitor, and adjust parameters on patients receiving respiratory support.
  • Administer medications with zero errors and document patient responses in medical records.
  • Show proficiency in aerosol drug administration methods, including metered dose inhalers and nebulizers.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Program or Certificate of completion from an AMA accredited program.
  • Current NYS Respiratory Therapist License.
  • CRT, RRT, or Registry Eligible by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Current BLS by the American Heart Association.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
