Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Stability Direct is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients with respiratory conditions.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will work closely with the healthcare team to provide respiratory care services to patients, including administering oxygen therapy, performing pulmonary function tests, and providing education to patients and families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer oxygen therapy and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Perform pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and peak flow measurements
  • Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in patient condition
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the state of New Jersey
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential or eligible
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of respiratory care principles and practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
