About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Applications Analyst to join our team at JPS Health Network. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of assigned applications and combining that knowledge with information technology experience to build and maintain a system that enhances workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and complete service requests and provide application support for assigned applications and systems by performing workflow assessments, capturing business needs, and analyzing internal systems to determine functional requirements.
  • Perform complex system configuration changes related to upgrades and vendor-related fixes and notifications.
  • Coordinate design development and implementation of larger initiatives.
  • Participate in the development of testing scenarios and testing scripts; participate in application unit level and integrated testing.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and vendor upgrades, enhancements, and offerings; partnering with customers to recommend and implement solutions as appropriate.
  • Create and modify reports as required and complete appropriate data validation.
  • Follow departmental processes, including but not limited to on call, project prioritization, status reports, security, documentation, change control, RCA, and time tracking.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
  • 3+ years implementing or supporting healthcare clinical or business application.
  • OR Equivalent combination of education and experience in related field.
  • Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training: If required, must obtain current certification in assigned application(s).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years of related experience in a healthcare environment.
  • License or Federal Registry in relevant health care field.
