Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Coordinator to join our team at Duke Health Integrated Practice in Morrisville, NC. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will provide administrative support and oversight for policies, procedures, and workflows in an ambulatory clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clinic leadership to review and develop schedules, task assignments, and manpower allocation to meet productivity goals.
  • Maintain liaison with administration, physicians, and outside organizations to coordinate clinic/practice business and facilitate problem resolution.
  • Conduct meetings with assigned pod and direct reports to ensure compliance with established practices and implement new policies.
  • Provide staff leadership, direct, and coordinate personnel functions, including files, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and performance appraisals.
  • Coordinate and oversee staff education programs, including internal and interdepartmental continuing education offerings.
  • Provide clinical support and/or coverage as needed based on staffing schedules and physician volume.
  • Involved in budget preparation and reconciliation of expenditure of budgeted funds.
Requirements
  • Work requires analytical, communications, and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.
  • Work requires three years of experience in program administration or involving academic, instructional, or counseling activities to acquire skills necessary to plan, coordinate, and implement program activities and events.
  • Master's degree preferred.
Work Environment

The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
