Worship Technology Coordinator

Chestnut Ridge Church is on the lookout for a dedicated full-time Worship Technology Coordinator to enhance the auditory and technological experience during our worship gatherings and events. This role also involves overseeing and optimizing our internal systems and networks to guarantee peak performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and operate the Front of House audio console during worship services, special events, and productions to deliver exceptional audio quality.
  • Collaborate with ministry teams to assess audio requirements for various events and services, providing technical support and expertise; execute stage layouts and cable/mic configurations for successful event delivery.
  • Assist in audio recording for video and podcast production.
  • Provide IT assistance for staff, volunteers, and guests throughout the week and during Sunday services.
  • Monitor, upgrade, install, troubleshoot, and maintain all physical and virtual IT systems, including network infrastructure, backups, and hardware (Windows OS, Mac OS, and iOS).
  • Administer Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, file shares, and Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Docs, etc.).
  • Maintain, update, and create documentation for networks, systems, and procedures.
  • Keep an inventory of all hardware and systems.
  • Oversee various IT projects to ensure successful implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with audio equipment, including management, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in support roles involving computers, servers (hardware and software), and networking.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects.
  • Proactive and focused, displaying passion and initiative in all tasks.
  • Committed to personal and professional growth, open to constructive feedback, and aware of personal strengths and weaknesses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the ministries of Chestnut Ridge Church is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. The role may involve standing, walking, and sitting, with the need to lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception.
