Job Summary

This position is responsible for capturing high-quality images of vehicles on our main lot, utilizing our MIC 2.0 application. The Vehicle Photographer will be responsible for processing electronic images, uploading images, and maintaining knowledge of Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture and process electronic images of vehicles, ensuring high-quality and accuracy.
  • Upload all pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
  • Maintain knowledge of Digital Quality Image (DQI) website and re-image or request re-imaging of any substandard images.
  • Process vehicles through the Photo Booth following available standard operating procedures (SOPs) if location is so equipped.
  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Minimum

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Generally, less than 2 years' experience in a related field
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, manual dexterity.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.

Preferred

  • 1 year of experience in photography preferred experience in digital and computer processing a plus.
  • Basic computer software skills are preferred.
  • Certification or education in photography a plus.

Work Environment

  • Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.
