Role Overview
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse at Parham Doctors' Hospital, you will be responsible for circulating surgical cases and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Your role will involve:
- Exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills for patients and colleagues.
- Providing individualized care based on patient needs.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Documenting all required information according to hospital policies.
- Maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
- Understanding aseptic techniques and the requirements for scrubbing surgical cases.
- Demonstrating competency in patient and family education.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- A current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Completion of a Peri-Operative course or relevant experience as an OR nurse.
