Job Summary

At Snapx, we are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Expert to join our Technology Research and Innovation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical and analytical skills to ensure the technical quality of cloud security focused deliverables and adherence to security standards, governance, and controls practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cloud security architectures and assist with the automation of security for Cloud PoC environments (AWS and Azure).
  • Contribute subject matter expertise and advice in the areas of Cloud Security (Endpoint, application, network) with a focus towards automation of cloud security.
  • Stay up-to-date with and have experience working with CNAPP (Cloud native application protection platform) solutions and MDR (Managed Detection and Response) solutions.
  • Be familiar with SSE (Security Service Edge) and have experience working with Zscaler.
  • Advise project teams during system development to ensure compliance with security policies, guidelines, standards, controls, and governance.
  • Contribute to the cloud security strategy, vision, requirements, and solutions for DevX.
  • Design, develop, and implement new cloud security technologies as necessary to support the Technology Research and Innovation team.
  • Consult with application development teams to determine cloud security requirements and for planning and delivering automated cloud-based business solutions.
  • Define, publish, and maintain processes for security governance (i.e., compliance to principles, guidelines, and standards).
  • Conduct technical research when necessary to contribute to setting cloud security direction and strategy. Assist others on the team on cloud security projects or security-related tasks on technical projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security architecture development, designs, integration.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or related experience preferred.
  • Experience working with CNAPP and Zscaler.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of cloud computing infrastructure, agile development, application development methodologies, best practices, and available and emergent services in several cloud provider environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
  • Maintain current knowledge of cloud security technologies and architecture marketplace.
  • Advanced analytical and technical skills, both breadth and depth.
  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent collaborative skills.
