Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer

Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security of our cloud-based systems and applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security solutions for Microsoft Sentinel Optimization Services.
  • Design and implement a proposed process and policy development to support the implementation and training of the Microsoft Sentinel Optimization Services.
  • Develop and maintain an Acceptable Risk Management Framework (RMF) package.
  • Provide user training on Microsoft Sentinel Optimization Services and conduct hands-on training for Government personnel.
  • Transition the maintenance and data of Microsoft Sentinel Optimization Services.
  • Manage the Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, including tuning and optimization of Azure Sentinel Baseline and Analytical Detection Rules.
  • Enable and configure Microsoft Sentinel data connectors for native tools.
  • Generate monthly reports on performance and cost metrics, including log source volume and data types ingested, recommended modifications to existing data sources, and overall cost attributed to Microsoft Sentinel ingest.
  • Conduct quarterly cyber readiness reviews to review overall protection, detection, response capabilities, and program hygiene.
  • Provide a deep-dive session to review any findings from the initial Sentinel analysis and introduce additional value propositions.
  • Develop architectural documentation displaying all connector inputs to Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Assess existing endpoint protection technologies and their integration into Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Establish a Lighthouse connection between DISA and the customer.
  • Provide in-person training to the Government on the SIEM solution.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • CompTIA SEC+ and other required certifications IAW DOD 8570.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Cloud technologies, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Well-versed in AQL query.
  • Ability to focus on how information moves across the system from one application to another.
  • Expertise in requirements engineering, data architecture, testing, and solution deployments, including understanding how systems interact with technical architectures.
  • Ability to create and organize large bits of information.
  • Ability to produce methodologies within the data framework to maintain the consistency and accuracy of the data.
  • Ability to produce/design data models that represent the structure of data within the data framework.
