Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, restaurants, transportation, and local attractions.
  • Manage cash handling and credit transactions according to company policies.
  • Maintain awareness of room rates, packages, and promotions to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Familiarize yourself with all in-house groups and special events to ensure seamless execution.
  • Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.
  • Utilize two-way radio etiquette to communicate effectively with colleagues and manage emergencies as needed.
  • Operate the front desk computer system efficiently and accurately to process transactions and maintain records.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; college coursework in a related field is an asset.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • You must be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
