Vascular Imaging Technician

The Vascular Imaging Technician, commonly referred to as an IR Tech, plays a crucial role in executing advanced radiographic techniques to assess vascular integrity across various body systems. Under general oversight, this position involves supporting medical professionals during arteriograms and other intricate procedures, in addition to performing hemodynamic assessments. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, the primary commitment is to deliver exceptional care to patients spanning all age demographics, from infants to seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage equipment for advanced radiographic examinations
  • Support physicians in conducting arteriograms and other specialized interventions
  • Carry out hemodynamic evaluations
  • Perform diagnostic imaging on patients of diverse age ranges

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Licensed Radiologic Technician in Florida
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
  • Associate Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology
  • Proven expertise in at least two specialized areas
  • Successful completion of the ARRT examination with a valid license

Compensation: $33-48 per hour
