Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Medical City Plano. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with high-quality diagnostic, neuro, and vascular ultrasound procedures, focusing on patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and assist with diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality images and accurate results.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring patients understand their procedures and results.
  • Support and help achieve departmental goals, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Effectively participate in and promote Excellence Always skills, including service recovery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Ultrasonography Certificate, Sonography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification.
  • Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) certification, obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
