Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full-Time Custodian. As a commercial cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that all bathrooms are sparkling, floors are spotless, and trash is removed on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to maintain a sanitary environment in compliance with OSHA's standards on Bloodborne Pathogens (29 CFR 1910.1030), including proper disposal of regulated waste.
  • Adhere to CDC, EPA, and OSHA guidelines related to routine disinfection for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.
  • Fill in for absent general cleaners at all job sites.
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, vacuuming, floor buffing, etc.
  • Perform technical cleaning jobs, including high-speed burnishing, stripping, refinishing floors, carpet cleaning, and window cleaning.
  • Must be flexible enough to perform multiple tasks at all job sites unaided.
  • Document and report supply inventory as needed.
  • Document and report staff activity as needed.
  • Perform proper care maintenance on cleaning equipment.
  • Must maintain an overall clean appearance on all equipment and supplies.
  • Drive company van to each job site.
  • Use leadership skills to supervise job sites, staff, and job completion.
  • Ensure jobs are completed on time and with great quality.
  • Available to work night shift and some weekends as well as various hours as needed depending on work schedule.
  • Valid NC driver's license is REQUIRED.
