Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) is in search of a skilled Lead Consultant, Community Heritage to leverage their knowledge in delivering vital business solutions to our partner organizations and clientele. The Lead Consultant, Community Heritage will be instrumental in furthering the mission of Community Heritage by offering expert advice and assistance to educational institutions, instructors, and community groups. This role encompasses the creation and facilitation of professional development sessions, crafting culturally relevant educational materials, and engaging with stakeholders to foster equity and civic engagement. The ideal candidate is an experienced educator and leader with a strong dedication to social equity, outstanding communication abilities, and a successful history in curriculum design and professional training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and conducting professional development workshops and training sessions that align with educational frameworks and the mission of Community Heritage.
  • Partnering with educational institutions, instructors, and community organizations to create and implement culturally relevant curricula and teaching methodologies.
  • Providing mentorship and support to educators in incorporating local civil rights history into their instructional practices and assisting leadership in developing sustainable coaching strategies.
  • Leading the creation and distribution of high-quality educational resources, including lesson plans, multimedia content, and assessment tools.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on civil rights history, social justice education, and culturally responsive teaching, with a focus on supporting diverse student populations and promoting social-emotional learning.
  • Contributing to the strategic development and expansion of Community Heritage, including identifying new partnership opportunities and program initiatives.
  • Representing Community Heritage at conferences, events, and within various professional networks.
  • Collaborating with leadership to formulate strategies for enhancing initiatives related to LGBTQ civil rights and fostering inclusive educational environments.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Social Justice Education, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the education sector, focusing on curriculum design, professional development, and/or educational leadership.
  • Proven expertise in culturally responsive education and social justice pedagogy.
  • Strong knowledge of civil rights history, particularly within local contexts.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver engaging professional learning experiences for educators.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and a commitment to equity and inclusion.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance educational practices.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful completion of all mandatory background checks.
  • Valid and current driver's license.
