Mornstair Inc is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Coordinator to support both administrative and human resources functions within the organization.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks and effective HR and administrative processes. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential, as this role involves frequent translation and communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.


Responsibilities
  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and equipment, ensuring availability and reordering as needed.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs for office facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional work environment.
  • Serve as a point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, redirecting or responding to queries as appropriate.
  • Compile and generate reports, spreadsheets, and documents as required by various departments.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide administrative assistance and support ongoing projects.
  • Assist in facilitating the acquisition of goods and services necessary for the organization's operations.
  • Plan and organize company events, meetings, and workshops.
  • Support HR in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, preparing paperwork, coordinating orientation, and assisting with initial training.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance evaluations.
  • Support benefits enrollment and communicate benefits information to employees, resolving employee inquiries related to benefits.
  • Address basic employee inquiries, provide general support, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate HR personnel.
  • Track employee attendance, sick leave, and vacation days, coordinating leave requests and maintaining attendance records.
  • Assist in implementing HR initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, training workshops, and policy updates.
  • Translate documents, emails, and communications between Mandarin and English to ensure accurate understanding across teams and with external partners.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in administrative and HR support roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interacting professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to work well with other team members and support a collaborative environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
