Job Title: Data Center Technician

Fortinet is seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. As a Data Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with migration activities, installation, and patching of data center equipment.
  • Collect and analyze network patching data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Procure and deploy data center equipment, and perform physical connections.
  • Collaborate with the network team to troubleshoot network issues and provide on-site support.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all deployed assets.
  • Troubleshoot Layer 1 and Layer 2 network issues.
  • Ensure data center cleanliness and adherence to established processes.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in networking and data center environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Experience with deploying, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting data center devices.
  • Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or Computer Science background/Networking Certification.
