Job Title: Senior Consultant Quantitative Modeler

FI Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant Quantitative Modeler to join our team. As a valued member of our team, you will apply your extensive knowledge and advanced techniques to provide expert advice to clients and lead teams in analyzing market, government, and business data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and improve mortgage forecasts, indices, and business scenarios to provide business insights to clients and policymakers.
  • Collaborate with research teams and Model Risk functions to ensure models are accurate, of high operational quality, and compliant with regulations.
  • Support model compliance activities by producing model documentation and tracking model performance.
  • Embed model risk controls into our processes.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of related professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in economic analysis modeling and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SAS.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience in financial services/banking industry, including awareness of standard model management processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Analytic engineering mindset with experience in GenAI, Git/Version Control, JIRA, and SDLC.
  • Experience with Cloud-based data analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
