Business Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Business Professor to join our team at Tacoma Community College. As a Business Professor, you will be responsible for teaching courses in the fields of general business, management, global logistics, entrepreneurship, human resources, and project management.
Responsibilities:- Develop and teach courses in business-related fields
- Develop, implement, and evaluate curricula at the rigor appropriate for the degree program
- Motivate students by providing a positive and supportive environment for growth
- Use technology tools to enhance student learning in any learning environment
- Collaborate with other business faculty and staff
- Participate in the college's professional development and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion events
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Two (2) years of relevant work experience and/or relevant current teaching experience that particularly qualify the faculty to provide instruction in the field of business
- Master's degree in Business, Business Administration, or Business Management or related field from an accredited college or university
- Experience teaching at a community college
- Experience in using online classroom platforms (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.)
- Experience teaching online or with online tools
- Successfully complete a criminal history background check prior to employment
