Job Title: Principal Electrical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our cutting-edge products.

About the Role:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for our products, including circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and electrical connectors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that electrical systems meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure that electrical systems meet company standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our products remain competitive.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design principles and practices.
  • Experience with design tools such as Cadence Allegro and OrCAD.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with power integrity and signal integrity analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD-461 and DO-160.
  • Experience with design for manufacturability and testability.
