Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing components for the next generation of submarine Electronic Warfare systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, and test RF, analog, and digital electronic circuits.
  • Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware.
  • Develop test criteria and assist in the design of test systems, including test software applications.
  • Perform component and architecture trade studies to determine optimal system solutions.
  • Develop technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer.
Requirements
  • Must have prior Electrical Engineering experience in RF System Design.
  • Proficiency in all phases of PCB design, including creation of high-level functional and architectural diagrams, SPICE analysis, power analysis, component selection, schematic entry, and working with the PCB layout team to optimize placement, signal integrity, fitment, etc.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects.
  • Experience in analog and digital circuit design, including signal integrity principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate technical staff.
