Job Overview

Position Summary:

As a Sales Associate, your primary responsibility is to prioritize customer satisfaction at all times. You will be tasked with delivering exceptional service to our clientele.

In this dynamic retail environment, you will showcase your sales expertise while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers. This role involves executing our Mission Statement daily, which emphasizes First Class Service to both internal and external customers. You may engage in activities on the sales floor or provide support in various capacities, all aimed at fostering a positive shopping experience in a well-organized and friendly setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit strong sales skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment.
  • Effectively greet, assist, and express gratitude to customers.
  • Deliver personalized service by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products.
  • Promote special offers and services to enhance customer experience.
  • Address and resolve customer service challenges as needed.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with team members.
  • Ensure the store's appearance aligns with visual merchandising and cleanliness standards.
  • Accurately process customer transactions using the cash register.
  • Handle receiving, inventory counts, returns, and transfers efficiently.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and process controls accurately.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Understand and comply with cash handling and loss prevention procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least one year of experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and effective communication in English.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and basic mathematics.
  • Must pass background checks and comply with applicable regulations.
  • Physical requirements include computer work, lifting (up to 40 lbs.), prolonged standing, and availability for early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
