Resumen del Trabajo y Calificaciones

En colaboración con el paciente, la familia del paciente y otros miembros del equipo de atención médica, el Registered Nurse de Telemetría es responsable de evaluar, planificar, implementar y coordinar un plan de tratamiento, logrando los objetivos del departamento de enfermería. Desempeñas un papel clave en el equipo interdependiente y eres responsable de lograr resultados positivos para los pacientes y el departamento.

Lo que harás en este rol:

Mantendrás la responsabilidad general por los pacientes asignados.

Gestionarás el flujo eficiente de la atención al paciente, incluyendo la evaluación, preparación para el examen, proporcionando atención y confort general, y organizando admisiones, pruebas y altas.

Mantendrás y revisarás los registros de los pacientes, incluyendo la publicación de pruebas y resultados de exámenes.

Administrarás medicamentos de acuerdo con las órdenes del médico.

Instruirás a los pacientes y sus familias sobre medicamentos y planes de tratamiento.

Responderás y referirás llamadas telefónicas entrantes (puede incluir triaje telefónico cuando sea necesario).

Calificaciones que puedes necesitar:

Debes ser graduado de una escuela de enfermería acreditada: se requiere un título de Asociado en Enfermería o superior.

Debes estar licenciado como Enfermero Registrado en el estado en el que practicas y/o tener una licencia activa Compact/Multi-State RN.

Se requiere una certificación actual de Soporte Vital Básico (BLS) de la Asociación Americana del Corazón (AHA) o de la Cruz Roja Americana.

Se prefiere 1 año de experiencia en atención aguda.
