Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, you will be accountable for the comprehensive nursing care of your assigned patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Caring for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac and peripheral procedures.
  • Preparing patients for invasive procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensuring a smooth patient flow through screening, preparation, and nursing care.
  • Providing necessary therapeutic services for patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and updating test results.

Qualifications Required

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state or an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred, to be obtained within six months of hire.
  • 1-2 years of relevant nursing experience, particularly in emergency or critical care settings.
