Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller - Financial Operations Manager to join our team. This role will oversee financial reporting and processes, control supply chain and supplier onboarding, and facilitate contract processes with new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in various financial components of the business, including business process improvement, forecasting, budget analysis, cost controls, and other financial reporting
  • Partner with the Sr. Program Manager Supply Chain and the Business Operations Analyst to facilitate supplier onboarding and participation for programs under the Sunburst portfolio
  • Actively involved in the operational and financial components of Request for Proposals (RFP) and Contracts process
  • Act as a liaison between the Business Development and Program Management teams and various corporate departments
  • Review expenses and other financial statements/reporting
  • Provide education and customer service to internal team members, support departments, clients, and staffing suppliers
  • Responsible for the training and continued development of direct reports
  • Establish open communication and invest in the vision of team success
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience as a supervisor preferred; preferably in healthcare, staffing, managed service provider (MSP) or finance industries
  • MBA preferred but not required
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), required
  • Microsoft Power BI experience a plus
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, supervisor, leadership, clients, supplier partners, and other pertinent personnel
  • Must be available to travel for occasional off-site meetings
  • Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required
