Position Summary

Troy Regional is currently seeking a PRN Radiologic Imaging Specialist. This role involves the proficient operation of radiation-emitting equipment and the execution of standard radiographic procedures, which include mobile radiography and fluoroscopy.

The Imaging Specialist will also handle essential clerical tasks such as filing and duplicating exams and reports. Familiarity with all aspects of film printing, storage, and retrieval within the PACS system is required.

This position caters to both inpatients and outpatients across all age demographics, ensuring timely and professional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Radiologist during diagnostic examinations.
  • Maintain well-stocked radiographic rooms with necessary supplies.
  • Complete all required documentation, including history sheets and computerized e-forms, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
QualificationsExperience:
  • ARRT registration or eligibility is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a hospital environment and knowledge of CT procedures are advantageous.
  • Ability to follow directives and adhere to departmental standards is essential.
  • Maturity and the capacity to perform under pressure are required.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently with professionalism and thoroughness.
Licenses/Certificates:
  • ARRT certification in radiology or registry eligibility is required. Registry-eligible candidates must pass the ARRT registry within one year to maintain employment.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
