Job Title: Orthopedic Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our team at Ortho NorthEast. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to patients in the orthopedic department, including examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal disorders. You will work closely with our team of physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
  • Examine patients and diagnose musculoskeletal disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
  • Provide patient education and counseling on orthopedic care and treatment options
  • Perform minor surgical procedures, including casting, splinting, and DME application
  • Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a Physician Assistant program accredited by the CAHEA
  • Licensure as a Physician Assistant
  • Experience in orthopedic care, preferably in a hospital setting
  • CPR/AED certification
  • ACLS certification desired
