Overview:

The Production Assembler plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by assembling complete Dynabrade power tools or their components. This position involves performing repetitive assembly tasks to efficiently produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a variety of assembly tasks, both repetitive and non-repetitive, to meet production goals.
  • Rotate through various tasks within the production line as required.
  • Accurately position parts in relation to one another and securely fasten them using bolts, clips, screws, or adhesives.
  • Follow visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, and written or verbal instructions for assembly.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet established specifications.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble experimental or prototype assemblies as needed.
  • Maintain and operate production equipment, including machines for fastening operations.
  • Adapt to different workstations based on production demands.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role require the ability to perform essential functions effectively. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment:

This position involves regular use of hands for handling and assembling components. Employees will frequently stand, walk, and communicate. Employees may encounter moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels in the work environment.
