Job Overview

The Electro-Mechanical Engineer plays a pivotal role in our client's organization by designing and developing innovative products and their corresponding manufacturing processes. This position is crucial in transitioning products from design to large-scale manufacturing, ensuring that all functional, quality, cost, reliability, and safety requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, analyze, and document electromechanical systems to meet functional, quality, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements.
  • Support project success by adhering to schedules, budgets, performance, and quality goals.
  • Create detailed project documentation, including drawings, engineering files, supplier communications, work instructions, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
  • Identify, debug, and troubleshoot electrical issues during production builds and implement effective solutions.
  • Improve existing product designs with cost-effective solutions.
  • Prepare and review reports and proposals, providing technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Design testing methods and procedures to ensure systems' reliability, performance, and safety.
  • Enhance manufacturing and assembly methods for electrical products.
  • Utilize testing equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.) to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
  • Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications in production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electro-Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
Skills:
  • Proficient in applying principles of mechanics, machine design, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and materials.
  • Strong working knowledge of CAD software (Solidworks) for designing electromechanical systems and components.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and see them through to manufacturing completion.
