Job Title: Dietary Aide

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Brothers of Mercy Nursing Home Company Inc. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing high-quality food and nutrition services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with tray assembly, dish washing, and cleaning of kitchen equipment and facilities
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including dish machines, coffee and juice machines, and steam tables
  • Transport supplies and equipment as needed
  • Participate in general cleaning assignments, including sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning of doors, counters, and equipment
  • Prepare and deliver nourishments to all nursing units
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information and honor resident personal and property rights
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
