About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our team at PCL Industrial Construction Co. in Alaska and Houston, Texas. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with construction/project managers and project teams to identify and resolve potential problems, work issues, or schedule challenges.
  • Develop and implement recovery plans to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams to define scope of work, identify variances from the original plan, and ensure expectations are met.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary project controls team to develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules, critical path analysis, and resolution of scheduling issues.
  • Apply analysis and make recommendations regarding trending and communicating schedule, progress, and cost information to project personnel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in project controls or project management, with a focus on engineering or industrial construction projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
