Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our team at Kids Health First. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our pediatric patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist medical providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Conduct vital signs, take medical histories, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including obtaining necessary medical equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
  • One year of experience in a medical setting, preferably in pediatrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification required; other certifications may be preferred.
