Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Help Desk Support Specialist in Personnel Security to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support to personnel filling in their Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) via phone and email. This includes reviewing investigative forms for completeness, accuracy, and correctness, as well as providing technical assistance with e-QIP requests online. Other responsibilities include preparing and submitting computer tracking systems, monitoring case material, and maintaining proficiency in the e-QIP system.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of directly related experience performing administrative support in personnel security functions. They should also be familiar with security customer service or help desk support, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint. Additionally, they must be able to pass a DHS Favorable Suitability/Fitness determination, hold U.S. Citizenship, and successfully pass a background investigation to be cleared to work.

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on location and experience.

Working Conditions:
The duties of this position are primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment, requiring prolonged sitting and working at a computer keyboard. The candidate should be able to sit, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily, lift up to 35 pounds occasionally, and walk upstairs and long distances without assistance. Noise levels are low to moderate.
