The Intersect Group is seeking a Facilities Reliability Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities through continuous remote monitoring of site conditions. You will be responsible for triaging incoming alarms and incident alerts, establishing a standardized response to critical issues across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the strategic direction of facilities operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and assist in developing training programs to enhance team technical skills.
- Participate in a 24/7/365 team dedicated to monitoring and managing incidents at various sites.
- Support incident investigations by employing structured problem-solving techniques to identify root causes of failures.
- Exhibit a proactive approach to problem-solving and demonstrate creativity in finding solutions.
- Identify and implement opportunities for enhancing quality, customer service, and cost efficiency.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management.
- Support management in the effective rollout and training of standard tools, processes, and systems.
- Facilitate the creation and implementation of training programs for Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS).
- Foster positive working relationships across all organizational levels.
- Manage multiple project deliverables and navigate complex situations effectively.
- Prioritize tasks and manage resources efficiently under pressure.
- Assist in conducting Root Cause Analysis led by the Facilities Reliability Group.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma is required.
- Availability to work various shifts within a 24/7/365 coverage framework.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
- Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Understanding of engineering documentation, electrical schematics, and standard operating procedures.
- Multilingual capabilities are advantageous.
Experience and Skills:
- Preferred experience of three to five (3-5) years in data center operations.
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering field is preferred.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced setting.
- 12-hour shifts.
