Key Responsibilities of the Laboratory Animal Caretaker
  • Maintain proper husbandry, nutrition, and cleanliness of animals utilized for research purposes.
  • Ensure adherence to institutional animal care standards.
  • Conduct daily responsibilities including health assessments, changing animal enclosures, and aiding in the handling of animals.
Required Qualifications for the Laboratory Animal Caretaker
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in animal care or husbandry.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory or zoological environment is preferred.
  • High School Diploma is mandatory.
Compensation Details for the Laboratory Animal Caretaker
  • Salary Range: $20 - $22 per hour.
