Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to expand our cardiovascular program. Our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower will feature three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team includes nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists, working together to provide exceptional patient care.

- Women's Choice Award in Heart Care
- Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation
- American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation
The ideal candidate will prepare and maintain equipment before and during procedures, identify and assess patient conditions, and establish a sterile environment. Additionally, they will serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and utilize downtime effectively.
Professional Practice- Serves as a role model and mentor for new hires and radiology students
- Maintains strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
- Participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification
- Basic Life Support training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- Current Basic Life Support certification required throughout employment
- ACLS training within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
