Job Overview

Position: Audio/Visual Technology Specialist

The Audio/Visual Technology Specialist will demonstrate expertise in Zoom and various audio/visual systems essential for facilitating virtual meetings. This role is critical in supporting the Program Lead by managing break-out sessions, tracking attendance, conducting polls, and assisting with participant technology challenges. The specialist will also provide technical support and escalate issues requiring further resolution.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience or a High School Diploma with 10 years of experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience utilizing Zoom, including its features and functionalities.
  • At least 3 years' experience in providing technical support for business applications (Analysis, Diagnosis, Remediation, Testing, Performance Tuning).
  • Proficiency in standard Windows OS and MS Office applications for over 3 years.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Application Analysis expertise.
  • Familiarity with ITIL Service Management.
  • Experience in Business Application Training.
  • Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing.
  • Application Development skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware, audio/visual technologies, and applications such as Zoom and SharePoint.
  • Proactively anticipate the needs of the Program Lead during meetings.
  • Track and document participant attendance effectively.
  • Manage the Zoom chat feature during virtual meetings.
  • Assist participants experiencing audio connection issues.
  • Oversee video functionality during sessions.
  • Facilitate the organization of breakout sessions.
  • Conduct polls to gather participant feedback.
  • Coordinate with Call Center leadership and client personnel.
  • Assist users with login challenges.
  • Support training initiatives for participant orientation and program director training.
  • Log issues using a CRM tool for tracking and resolution.
