About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team at FULLBEAUTY Brands. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new fulfillment technologies that support the growth and efficiency targets of the business while meeting return-on-investment (ROI) expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Senior leadership to develop and implement strategic goals for the company, including vendor scoping, ROI justifications, executive alignment presentations, vendor negotiations, implementation planning, execution, and enforcement.
- Develop and manage the annual capital budget to deliver efficiency gains in fulfillment centers.
- Develop and manage fulfillment center capacity planning for multiple sites based on business growth.
- Cross-functional partnerships to identify, implement, and maintain efficiencies through capital projects and process improvements.
- Strong working knowledge of information technology integrations with material handling solutions.
- Project lead on design and development of robotic process automation (RPA) programs and prototypes.
- Provides technical support and troubleshooting services for robotic systems.
- Recommend, develop, and implement enhancements and improvements to increase production volume or precision in high-throughput robotic process automation.
- Ensures that robotic machines operate safely, dependably, and with precision; identifies and implements modifications.
- Responsible for team and individual development of managers, including coaching, training, mentoring, and conducting performance reviews. Make recommendations concerning promotions, transfers, and new hires and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, standards, and protocols.
- Communicate regularly with all levels of Associates within the company, outside vendors, government officials, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline and 8-10 years of progressive management experience. Master's degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of material handling systems and equipment.
- PLC and Controls Engineering – knowledge of Allen Bradley systems and optimization options.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, building codes, and related standards.
- Experience in developing and executing capital budgets.
- Prior demonstrated history of full-cycle project management of projects between $3M-$10M.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating supplier contracts and SLAs.
- Excellent problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills.
- Strong sense of ethics and customer service focus.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to think from a global, strategic perspective.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including developing direct reports and building teams.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, CAD, and CMMS.
