The Booking Producer plays a crucial role in securing guests for on-air interviews and will report directly to the head of the booking division, as well as the executive producer of the assigned show. This role involves outreach, guest vetting, and building lasting relationships with guests and their representatives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with the Executive Producer and team to identify high-profile guests for broadcast.
  • Conducting thorough research and outreach to potential guests.
  • Assisting the team in securing relevant on-air guests for interviews and appearances.
  • Building and maintaining strong connections with newsmakers, experts, officials, publicists, and celebrities.
  • Acting as the primary liaison for guests and their representatives.
  • Conducting pre-interviews and vetting potential on-air guests.
  • Coordinating interview logistics, including timing and format for appearances.
  • Providing guests with topics and areas of discussion for interviews.
  • Communicating on-air appearance requirements to guests.
  • Securing exclusive interviews and content with key newsmaker guests.
  • Identifying new and emerging voices as subject matter experts.
