Job Overview

SAVI EHS is seeking a seasoned Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager with a focus on construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess relevant credentials (e.g., BS, MS, OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, ASP, GSP, CSP, CHST, STSC, etc.) and have experience in data center environments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations for ongoing projects
  • Conducting thorough daily EHS inspections
  • Providing tailored EHS orientations for project teams
  • Assisting in the coordination of crane operations
  • Engaging in the Daily Hazard Analysis process
  • Investigating incidents to identify root causes and formulate corrective and preventive measures
  • Collaborating with project leadership to promote a safe and injury-free work environment
  • Collecting and analyzing safety indicators to identify trends and implement necessary actions
  • Reviewing and developing EHS plans as required
  • Ensuring contractor compliance with their EHS plans
  • Verifying that craft workers receive appropriate training for their tasks
  • Partnering with trade contractor EHS professionals to manage the project safety leadership team
  • Acting as a liaison with the client's risk management team
  • Delivering various EHS training sessions
  • Assisting in the management of a positive reinforcement safety program

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in EHS with a focus on construction
  • Specialized EHS experience in data centers
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office

Education and Certifications

  • BS/MS in a relevant field
  • OSHA 500/510 certification
  • ASP/GSP/CSP/CHST/STSC certifications
