We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at OB/GYN Associates. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs. Additionally, they will prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments, provide injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy, and answer telephone calls to the practice and screen referrals.

Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting
  • Current Medical Assistant certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire date
