Position Summary
Assists with quality patient care by being sensitive to the needs, interests, and abilities of residents, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and plan resident engagement programs, including activities and events that promote socialization and well-being.
- Supervise subordinate staff and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
- Work closely with the care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of resident care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and community partners to promote a positive and supportive environment.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED.
- 2+ years' experience of coordinating activities preferred.
- Working knowledge of MDS resident assessment and electronic medical record charting.
- Ability to plan and organize resident engagement programs and supervise subordinate staff.
- CA Activity Director Certification.
