Welcome to Hi-Desert Continuing Care Center, where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As a RN Clinical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care and services in our Extended Care unit.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by example, promoting excellence in resident care and setting the standard for nursing practice.
- Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations, as well as Hi-Desert Continuing Care Center policies and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the medical director and other staff physicians to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Function as the primary resource for the assigned unit, managing patient flow, resident complaints, and employee concerns.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality care and services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with the Acute Hospital and other healthcare providers.
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Current California Registered Nurse License (RN)
- BLS Certification
- 2 years experience as an RN/LVN, with previous Subacute/ventilator experience preferred
- Contact with residents/patients under a wide variety of circumstances
- May be exposed to infections and contagious diseases
- Regularly exposed to the risk of blood-borne diseases
$77.02 hourly
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.
