Western Rock Products, a leading provider of construction materials, is seeking a skilled Ready Mix Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating ready mix trucks to deliver products to various job sites.
Key Responsibilities- Operate ready mix trucks in a safe and professional manner to deliver products to job sites.
- Perform pre and post-trip truck inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Verify compliance with mix specifications after loading and at job sites.
- Align mixer drum under disbursement chute at the plant to receive product into the mixer truck drum.
- Drive ready mix truck to location for unloading.
- Operate ready mix truck to release concrete down truck chute into area to be poured with concrete.
- Clean truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck.
- Place and operate chutes to deliver product where directed.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.

The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to signal and handle equipment. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
