Position Overview: As a Commercial & Community Security Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate new business prospects and enhance sales revenue by offering security solutions tailored to commercial clients and community needs. You will be instrumental in recognizing new business avenues, fostering relationships with potential clients, and finalizing sales agreements. Your knowledge of security systems will empower you to advise clients on their security requirements and suggest suitable products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients within the commercial and community sectors.
  • Conduct comprehensive research to grasp the security needs of each prospective client.
  • Engage in industry trade exhibitions and local networking events.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers to effectively position our security offerings.
  • Perform detailed needs assessments to understand client requirements and propose customized security solutions.
  • Craft and deliver persuasive sales proposals and presentations that highlight the advantages of our security products and services.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to align with client expectations and company profitability objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights to clients and enhance our offerings.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets and objectives set by the organization, regularly reporting on sales activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  2. A collaborative team player who prioritizes exceptional customer service.
  3. A proven history of successful sales in the security sector, particularly within commercial and community markets.
  4. A solid understanding of security systems, access control, surveillance technologies, and related services.
  5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  6. Demonstrated capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  7. Highly driven with a proactive approach to prospecting and closing sales.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications.
  9. A valid driver's license with a driving record that meets insurance standards, along with a willingness to travel as necessary.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer.
